his was perfect fit right out of the box. (I haven't washed it yet so can't comment on shrinkage.) As the title says, it is SO SLIMMING. I am 5'2" with large bust and waist, but smaller hips, bum and thighs. I love this style - it completely hides the tummy and shows just the thinner thighs. PERFECT! Makes me look younger. Can be worn shorter or longer as the band is a good snug - but not tight - fit. Note: it is a sheer fabric so will need a tank top/singlet underneath for those hiding bulges or bras. BUt that is fine with me - I'm not into showing my underwear.... I chose a SMall; I like it so much I will order another top, but in an XS, as I think I could do that too. It is not cheap for what is effectively a tee-shirt, but when you get into middle-aged tummy spread, I'll pay for the visual illusion of 10 years younger. :-)
